A painting offers a chance to tell a story, evoking the same thrill as your beloved spooky tale.

Drawing from classic horror and the macabre the art captures the uncanny and melancholic. Inviting you to appreciate the beauty in all things dark and eerie. Challenging perceptions, redefining contemporary dark art for modern interiors, moving beyond gothic art clichés. The perfect addition to your lair.

This current series, delves into corvids as the unofficial mascots of all things gothic. I'm captivated by crows and ravens' symbolism and their importance in superstitions and folklore. Often viewed as dark omens, these beautiful birds signify so much more. Exploring this idea has become an obsession however I am always mindful to enjoy the process.

Although my chosen degree was textile art, the practice of painting and drawing was prevalent throughout my studies. This love of painting continued throughout my working life, becoming a place of solace and rest.

My textile background comes through in the textures and tactile feel of my paintings. Creating layers of interest is an important part of my process.
