How to take care of your original artwork

Keep away from direct sunlight

Although the painting has been sealed with a UV resistant varnish, over time the colours can fade from lasting exposure to direct sunlight. To ensure the longevity of your painting avoid any walls that get direct sunlight for most of the day.

Avoid water and moisture

It goes without saying that water is not the best companion for art work. Repeated exposure to steam and humidity will warp wooden panels, and could completely ruin any work on paper. Therefore it’s best to keep your precious artwork out of the bathroom and kitchen to ensure its kept in the best condition.

Keep it clean

All original work on panel or paper can be cleaned very simply with a dry lint free cloth or feather duster. Simply wipe away any dust that’s settled. Avoid any chemicals or sprays as this could affect the overall finish of the piece.

Enjoy it!!

Lastly, enjoy the artwork! Art that’s been looked after can last a lifetime, that’s a long time of enjoyment!

Thanks again for purchasing my art, I hope you get as much joy from it as I did painting it.
