15 x 20cm Acrylic and mixed media original painting on cradled wood panel. Finished with a satin varnish, giving a subtle sheen. The depth of the wood panel is 20mm.

This piece is part of a series exploring the concept of corvids within gothic subculture and folklore. Within this painting are pages from classic gothic horror novels such as “the Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe used as collage.

Depth has been created by sanding back between layers to reveal details underneath. Some text from the book pages can be seen.
