The first piece created in this series exploring the concept of corvids within gothic subculture and folklore. Using book pages from classic horror novels such as Frankenstein and Dracula as collage.
Sanding is used as part of the process to create layers of interest and disrupt the realistic imagery.

Original Acrylic painting on Cradled plywood panel. Indian Ink, charcoal, oil pastel, marker pen and collage also used.
Panel is 20mm deep
Framed in Obeche wood in black, the frame depth is 35mm. D rings and hanging cord attached to the back.
Signed certificate of authenticity attached on the back of the painting.
